A New Chapter

I am completely aware that this log post is long overdue. By now my readers are probably thinking that I'm just going to be another one-hit wonder blogger; sorry to disappoint, but I am at it again! This past month has been the busiest month of my entire life. I moved out, and then back in, at A&M, and have officially begun my fall semester! Since I am the first kiddo in my family off to college, move in day was quite the adventure and none of us knew what we were doing. But, we did it! My room is very Chandler-esque if you ask me, or anyone else who knows me for that matter.

Here are some pictures of my home away from home!

I live in the Callaway Villas, not too far of a walk from campus but not on campus directly. I take a bus to get to school every morning and get on the first stop so that I can talk to the bus drivers. Mornings are typically my best time of day, but unfortunately I can't really say the same for everyone else. I talk to them anyway, surprise! I pretty much have a set schedule for Mondays and Wednesdays and then a separate one for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I DO NOT like veering too far from this schedule, so when exams week rolled around (this week), I was not a happy camper. Now, instead of studying at the library at my normal planned out times, I just live there.

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding on September 3rd this year. Laura and I have been friends for years, and she was my first friend to tie the knot. Such a brave soul, she is. The wedding was held in Argyle at a beautiful golf course and country club. Words cannot express how happy I am for the newlywed couple, and I wish them the best of luck on the journey on which they are embarking. Liz Angle, who I have known since fifth grade, was my fellow bridesmaid; I am so thankful that I got to share the experience with two of my oldest and dearest friends. Laura looked absolutely stunning, and Justin, the groom, cleans up pretty nicely too. ;)

 Um..
McLovin' walked me down the isle!

Yes, that is me crying in the background of this photo. Such a shocker.

I am not at all done updating for the week, but I will have to be done for the night- I am being a good student and getting back to my studies!
